Relationships and Mentoring in the Workplace

This program explores how skilled nursing facility leadership can build a workplace culture grounded in respectful relationships and effective mentorship. It emphasizes the essential role of professional leadership in fostering a supportive environment where staff feel valued and engaged.

Part One focuses on key components of positive workplace relationships, including the five core characteristics of strong professional connections, the role of emotional intelligence in team dynamics, conflict resolution strategies, and communication techniques to improve listening and collaboration.

Part Two addresses mentoring as a leadership responsibility, highlighting how to approach mentoring thoughtfully, overcome common barriers, and identify and prepare the right individuals for professional growth.
