The Privacy Management for Post-Acute Healthcare Professionals series is designed to provide a policy-focused framework for leaders in post-acute healthcare settings to plan, implement, and evaluate privacy practices consistent with law, regulation, and best practices. It is intended for administrators, directors, officers, clinical staff, employees, independent contractors, consultants, and others working in the post-acute care setting.

The four segments of the program are:

  • Session 1: Privacy Management – Governance and Oversight
  • Session 2: Privacy Management – Executing Policy
  • Session 3: Privacy Management – Operational Implications
  • Session 4: Privacy Management – Mitigating Risk

Each of the four modules includes a post-test. This program is approved for 2.25 CEs from NAB/NCERS and 2.0 Florida Board of Nursing CEs. A combined minimum passing percent of 70% for all four post-tests is required in order to earn the 2.25 CEs from NAB/NCERS and 2.0 Florida Board of Nursing CEs.

Upon purchase of the course, you will receive a password via email to enter both the on-demand webinar and the program post-test. Please use the same email address you used for your purchase when you begin your post-test in order to receive your CE credits.

Administrators, who have not registered with NAB are not eligible to receive credits.

If an administrator does not already have an NAB account, he or she can still set one up. Instructions on setting up both a regular NAB account and a CE Registry account can be found in the NAB CE Registry Handbook for Administrators found here: Click Here

Important note to individuals with licenses other than nursing home administration:

While these programs are approved through NAB/NCERS for nursing home administrator credits, Med-Net suggests that those who hold licenses in other healthcare disciplines such as: nursing, social work, physical therapy, etc., inquire with their respective state licensing board prior to purchasing a program to ensure that the board will accept the credits. All state licensing boards have final say on what credits they accept.
